little goat creek

the first day of floating was done exclusively in a drizzle.  bill had decided against buying a dry suit for the trip and by the end of the 1st day said he would have paid $1000 for one.  as far as i know everyone else had a dry suit and felt great ;)

at this water level the rapids between paradise and little goat creek camp were reasonably easy.  only goat creek presented a view that would have made me wish for a scout if i had not been with several seasoned veterans of the selway.  as it was following them through goat creek was easy enough.

vicki isn't really passed out drunk.  i just snapped this at a blinking moment.  as you can tell though even at camp the drizzle continued.  this camp offered some great camp spaces under the trees to help us keep tents out of direct rain.

evidently our prime rib dinner wasn't quite enough for these two, but shoes?  won't you need your shoes tomorrow?
